The Chancellor of The Supreme Court

The Chancellor manages the auxiliary services within the Supreme Court. The function of chancellor can be hold only by a lawyer who has exercised his/her profession for not less than seven years. He/she is appointed and dismissed by the Chief Justices of the Supreme Court.
He/she supervises the sectors functioning for the administration of the documents and judicial files. No less than once in two weeks, in accordance with the law, he/she organized the judicial lot for the judicial cases’ assignment. He/she may authorize the adjudication with priority of some judicial cases. Establishes the criteria and procedures for the appointment of the administrative staff, makes recommendations to the Chief Justice for organization structural changes and sector’s staff organization within the Supreme Court.
Supervises the measures taken for drafting in time the budge and takes the appropriate measure for its implementation.
