IRMA BALA(HEBOVIJA), Justice of the Supreme Court was born in Shkodra, on May 19, 1963. She is married. She received a Law Degree from The University of Tirana, Faculty of Law in 1985 and a Master of Laws Diploma from this Faculty. Has served as an Investigator at the Investigation Office of Shkodra from 1985-1988. From 1988-1994 was appointed Judge at the District Court of Shkodra. And from 1994-2001 was a Legal Adviser at the Supreme Court of Albania. She was an external professor at the Faculty of Law from 1994-2001 and has several post-graduated qualifications in Human Rights and Laws taken in national and foreign institutions.
Since 2005 she is Chairman of the Commission of Ethics of the National Judicial Conference
The President of the Republic, by the Decree no. 2962, dated April 9 2001, nominated her member of the Supreme Court of Albania.
