GANI DIZDARI, Justice of the Supreme Court was born in Tropoja, on April 30, 1949. He is a widow and has one child. He received a Law Degree from The University of Tirana, Faculty of Law in 1972. He served as Prosecutor at the District of Tropoja Prosecutor’s Office from 1973-1982, and as prosecutor at the General Attorney’s Office, Judicial Department from 1982-1989. From 1989-1995 was a prosecutor at the Albanian Cassation Court, and from 1995-1999 was Vice-General Attorney. He practiced law from 1999-2006 and is a member of the Tirana Chamber of Advocacy. Since 2006 he is a member of the Legal Reform Commission, Chairman of the Penal Subcommittee.
The President of the Republic, by the Decree no.4732, dated December 15 2005, nominated him member of the Supreme Court of Albanian and from June 2007 he is Chairman of Penal Panel of Supreme Court.
