EVELINA QIRJAKO, Justice of the Supreme Court, was born in Saranda on April 10, 1967. She received a Law Degree from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Law in 1989. Justice Qirjako has held the function of Legal Advisor at The Legal Consulting Office of Tirana from September 1, 1989 till November 31, 1990. From 1990 till 1999, she has been an Attorney at Law, and from June 1999, till March 2001 she has been Associate at The International Law Firm Tonnucci. While, from 2001 till 2008 she established and managed one of the most outstanding law firm in Tirana, The “Qirjako” Law Office, with main focus on civil cases. Justice Qirjako has taught “Obligations Law”, as an external professor, at The Faculty of Law from 1994-1996, and from October 2002-on she is an Arbitrator at Judicial Arbitration of Albania. She has participated in a number of trainings organized in Albania and abroad with focus on Commercial Law, Human Rights, and has been a Legal Expert at the Magistrates’ School on the “Commercial Companies” Law. Justice Qirjako is a member of the Tirana Chamber of Advocacy, and since 1992 she is a member of The International Chamber Advocacy.
The President of the Republic, by the Decree no.5793 , dated 08.07.2008, nominated her member of the Supreme Court of Albania.
