BESNIK IMERAJ, Justice of the Supreme Court, was born in Tirana, on December 6, 1954. He is married and has two children. He received a Law Degree from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Law in 1977. He served as an investigator at the Investigator’s Office of Elbasan from 1977-1986. From 1986-1991 was Head of Directorate at the General Investigation’s Office. He was a Jurist for the Corporation “TRANS-ALBANIA” from 1991-1995. He was Chief-Judge at the Court of Appeal of Durres from January 1, 1998 till March 1, 2005. From 2000-2006 was a member of the High Council of Justice and since 2000 is an external professor at the Albanian Magistrates’ School.
The President of the Republic, by the Decree no. 4482, dated February 17 2005, nominated him member of the Supreme Court of Albania.
