ARDIAN DVORANI, Justice of the Supreme Court, was
born, in Korce, on February 20, 1966. He is married and has one
child. He received a Law Degree from The University of Tirana,
Faculty of Law in 1988. He served as a Prosecutor at the
District of Shkodra Prosecutor’s Office from 1988-1991. He was a
Legal Adviser and Head of the Legal Department at INSIG sh.a
from 1991-1994. From March 1994 to September 1999 was a Legal
Advisor at The Council of Ministers, and from September 1999 to
February 2005 he severed as Head of the General Codification
Department-Ministry of Justice. For a six months period he was
Head of the Legal Department, The Albanian Parliament. During
the period 1999-2005, inter alia, he was a Vice-Chairman of the
Supervisory Board at INSIGsha, Albtelecom sha, and SICRED sha,
Chairman of the National Board of Anticorruption Supervision,
Chief of the Albanian Delegation at GRECO, and reporter of this
international organization for the supervision of the
international anticorruption and anti-crimes standards in
different member-states. Till February 2005 he was a permanent
member of the Negotiation-Group for the Stabilization and
Association Agreement with EU for Justice and Internal Affairs.
Is Chairman of the Commission for continuous professional
improvement of The National Judicial Conference, and from
November 2005 is member of the Board of the Albanian
Magistrates’ School.
The President of the Republic, by the Decree no.4481, dated
February 17 2005, nominated him member of the Supreme Court of
Albania.
